Titania (TiO2) has been widely studied because of its unique optical and chemical properties in catalysis, photocatalysis, air purification, biomaterials etc. This material crystallizes mainly in anatase or rutile phase and exhibits different physical and chemical properties. Anatase to rutile phase transition occurs in temperature range of 350 °C to 1000 °C. During sintering process densification and grain growth occurs, which has large effect on further ceramic properties and technological applications.
