A special purpose symbolic manipulation package is developed in FORTRAN to generate elemental matrices for finite element analysis. Through a set of user-defined commands the package performs necessary symbolic manipulations. A brief description of the package and some of the important commands are presented. An illustrative example is considered to demonstrate the use of the package
