A major obstacle in the application of the powerful ray-theoretic techniques like the UTD[I] to antenna analysis in presence of a general convex surfaces is the difficulties in obtaining the surface ray geometric parameters. While the differential ray geometric parameters (e.g. Frenet-frame field vectors, t h e various radii of curvature, torsion) can be easily obtained once the parametric form of the surface is known, the integral ray parameters are difficult to derive in general
