Chemical composition and antifungal activities of essential oil of Hyssopus officinalis L. and its component β-pinene were done in this paper using macrodilution and microdilution methods. Minimum inhibitory and minimum fungicidal concentrations (MIC and MFC) in ethanol and Tween were determined. Oil and component were investigated against 12 phyto-, animal- and human pathogens; Aspergillus niger, A. ochraceus, A. versicolor, A. flavus, A. terreus, Alternaria alternata, Penicillium ochrochloron, P. funiculosum, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Trichoderma viride, Fusarium tricinctum, Phomopsis helianthi.
