The aim and objectives of the study. The aim of the study was to determine distinctive characteristics of metabolism and inflammation in men with obstructive sleep apnea. The objectives of the study: 1. To evaluate clinical characteristics (daytime sleepiness, antropometry) and components of metabolic syndrome as well as parametrs of the severity of the disease in men obstructive sleep apnea and to compare them with snorers (control group). 2. To access levels of inflammation markers (C reactive protein and fibrinogen, reactive oxygen species in peripheral blood neutrophils) and to compare among the groups of men with different severity of obstructive sleep apnea and snorers. 3.
