Leaf explants of Maytenus boaria were induced towards callus tissue culture with different mixture of cytokinins and auxins. MeOH extract of callus was partitioned with AcOEt and water, and through repeated chromatography procedures were isolated and identified, four triterpenes and three β-agarofuran sesquiterpenes
