Despite the great number of literary work’s adaptations, studies tend to focus not on the intersemiotic features, but on others. This study analyses the process of intersemiotic translation in 1999’s adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel Mansfield Park, directed by the Canadian film director Patricia Rozema.
