Innovation in the landscape of selected health resorts in Poland

The aim of the research, the results of which were presented in this paper, was to identify innovative activities in the landscape of selected health resorts in Poland. Surveys were conducted among self-governments of communes and spa towns in Poland as well as analysis of spa development programs and revitalization programs and field observations. As a result of the research, it was found that acoustic revitalization based on acoustic design and sensory tourism based on tourism experience are prospective development directions for Polish health resorts due to their protective function and the need to preserve a high-quality soundscape and very great tourism potential.Celem badań, których wyniki przedstawiono w niniejszej pracy było rozpoznanie i scharakteryzowanie działań innowacyjnych w krajobrazie wybranych uzdrowisk w Polsce. Przeprowadzono analizę programów rozwoju uzdrowisk i programów rewitalizacji oraz obserwacje terenowe. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, że rewitalizacja akustyczna krajobrazu oparta na projektowaniu akustycznym oraz turystyka sensoryczna bazująca na doświadczeniu turystycznym, są perspektywicznymi kierunkami rozwoju polskich uzdrowisk, z uwagi na ich funkcję ochronną i konieczność zachowania wysokiej jakości dźwiękowej krajobrazu oraz bardzo duży potencjał turystyczny
