The study of the mechanical behavior of laminated composites generally presents difficulties in their development, especially with respect the effect of the anisotropy (fibers orientation influence in relation to the applied load direction) and presence of geometric discontinuities such as holes and/or notchs, thus the need for more detailed studies that determine accurately these influences.
