International audienceIn this paper, new vapour-liquid equilibrium data of the (ethane + R1234ze(E)) binary system are presented. The measurements are performed at six isotherms ranging from 272.27 to 347.52 K and for pressures up to 4.89 MPa. The experiments were conducted by means of a "static-analytic" apparatus with phase analysis via gas chromatography, with resulting uncertainties of 0.03 K for temperature, 0.4 kPa for pressure and 0.0043 for vapour and liquid mole fractions. The experimental data were correlated with Peng-Robinson equation of state using the classical van der Waals mixing rules.
