International audienceThis article presents an ongoing research about the complex concept of chronotope. To do so, it crosses two approaches, one fundamental and the other pre-operational, lead alongside on Parisian public space. Both aim to understand cities time and rhythms, to better design and manage it. The merge of those approaches allow us to present a state of the art of notions, hypothesis and first results of urban space and time joint analysis.
