International audienceThe organizational communication is one among other domains in the field of information and communication sciences fed by researches in semiotics-semiology. Among other possible forms of this relation, Alex Mucchielli proposed the method of situational semiotics (sémiotique situationnelle) at the beginning of 2000s (Mucchielli, on 2003). This article proposes various reflections questioning and exposing the ways and limits of the method, by establishing itself on a corpus stemming from a communicational study realized within a student hall of residence in the city of Montpelier (the Hérault, France).
