International audienceExisting research about communities of mathematics teachers mainly draws on sociocultural theories. In complementarity, our project consists in studying more deeply the place of mathematics within communities of teachers. We also define the notion of didactical study of communities of mathematics teachers to focus on a general research project on the place of mathematics in teacher community dynamics. We propose a theoretical model to analyze the problems of the community stemming from the network of several theoretical frameworks and approaches.
