Introduction: endometriosis affects 10% of women of childbearing age. It affects the quality of life of women and its diagnosis is late. Objective: identify the role of the general practitioner in the endometriosis diagnosis and maybe find ways to reduce the diagnosis delay. Materials and Methods: descriptive observational study, multicentric in 5 gynecological offices and in an endometriosis center in Paris. Results: 52questionnaires were collected for the center group and 60 for the doctor's office group. In 70% of cases the patients presented chronic abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea or dyspareunia.
