The recent Open Data project “FORDATIS aims to establish a research data repository not only under the FAIR principles, but also that is well-connected to both the publication repository and internal data management systems. In this presentation, “Fordatis - a DSpace Solution” s the issues of customization and implementation of an open access research data repository is discussed. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft’s research activities are conducted by 72 institutes and research units spread throughout Germany.
