An accelerated numerical method is developed for one-speed one-dimensional neutron transport eigenvalue problems in the discrete ordinates (SN) formation. This numerical method is completely free from all spatial truncation errors; therefore the numerical results obtained are those of the dominant analytical solution of the SN Eigen problem regardless of the spatial grid and apart from finite arithmetic considerations. We have implemented the option of using the albedo boundary conditions, that measure the neutron reflective power of the reflector, e.g. water. The power iterative scheme used for convergence of the dominant numerical solution has been accelerated using Tchebycheff and Wielandt technique. Numerical results are given to illust...
