D0 mixing at the BABAR experiment

After an introduction to the mixing of neutral charmed mesons and the Standard Model predictions for it, we discuss recent experimental results for D 0 - D̄0 mixing measurement at the BABAR experiment. The D0 → K+π- wrongsign-time-dependent analysis and the lifetime ratio analysis for D0 → K+ K- and D0 → K-π+ are presented. In particular we describe the time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis of D0 → KS0h+ h- (h = π,K) which allows a direct measurement of xd and yD, the mixing parameters that describe, respectively, mass and width differences between the mass eigenstates of the neutral D system. © Società Italiana di Fisica
