Les fruits (cabosses) de 76 ortets de cacaoyers de neuf populations naturelles des bassins des rivières Camopi et Tanpok en Guyane française ont été caractérisés en collection ex situ à Paracou-Combi (Sinnamary, Guyane française). Pour chaque ortet, un minimum de 35 cabosses, récoltées en récolte principale, a été caractérisé (2 690 cabosses au total). Sept caractères primaires ont été étudiés: la longueur de la cabosse, son diamètre maximum, son poids total et le poids de fèves (graines) contenu, ainsi que la verrucosité, la forme de l'apex et celle du collet.
