Novas dinâmicas global/local: Empresas, agricultores familiares e trabalhadores nos novos contextos de frutas tropicais

This paper examines aspects of the globalisation of agro-food systems, emphasizing new relationships between agriculture and services in the production of grapes, mangoes and coconut in new fruitculture regions oriented to the North markets. The productive strategies used by the actors - agroindustries, family farmers and workers, to attend the requirements of fruit quality, as well as, the context of global/local relations are analysed, based on research carried out in the Northeast Brazil.
