Aprendizagem coletiva e construção social do saber local : o caso da inovação na agricultura familiar da Paraiba

(Social learning and collective building of local knowledge: family farming innovation in the Agreste region of Paraiba). This paper is about innovation process among family holders in the Agreste region of Paraiba State. The objective of this research was to verify the interest and the practical return of local knowledge system characterisation for rural development local stakeholders, including small farmers, scholars and extension agents. The participatory methodology, used to build agriculture knowledge systems, is presented through several examples, like the case o Curimataù small region (municipality of SoIânea). It's undertaken on the characterisation of sociotechnical local spaces and interpersonal nertworks, and on their social regulation mechanisms. The second session presents the configuration of agriculture local knowledge system in the Agreste region. The author analyses how it can be used in order to strengthen innovation, training and organisation processes for local smallholders, based on social learning mechanisms. (Résumé d'auteur
