Social media have become a powerful corporate communication tool for the creation of reputed brands. For this reason, hospitals increasingly rely on this tool as a method to improve the relationships they establish with different stakeholders (patients, public authorities, media, etc.). This paper aims to reflect on the impact of social media on the construction of hospital brand. To do this, we carried out a literature review on corporate communication, branding and social media; and later, we analyzed the communication in social media of the 100 best hospitals in Spain.
