This chapter proposes a model for the evaluation of the effectiveness of innovative learning environments in supporting the achievement of innovative educational practices. The purpose of such evaluation is to inform improved practice in the future. A review of the literature suggests that the current models of evaluation in this field tend to be situated in the separate domains of architecture or education. The model presented here proposes a framework that enables both architectural and education perspectives to be considered in a developmental process.
