Thesis (M.Ed.)--University of Melbourne, 1996This minor thesis is a study of change management in relation to project closure and the impact this aspect of change management has upon the learning organisation in a corporate environment. It provides a literature review of the current understanding of project closure and through six semi-structured in-depth interviews tests some current theories of project closure. This leads to the questioning of the capability of organisational management to fulfil the aims of the learning organisation in relation to project environments. The thesis concludes by suggesting further areas of research
