There are many gaps in our understanding of APC mutations and their consequences, particularly in sporadic colorectal tumours. The aim of this study is to improve our understanding of APC mutations and aberrant WNT signalling in colorectal cancer. A cohort of 630 sporadic CRCs is analysed for APC gene mutations and loss of heterozygosity, by Sanger sequencing and single nucleotide polymorphism microarrays, respectively.
