© 1994 Dr. John VasilakakosThis thesis is an examination of Kahtitsis' narrative techniques. Although it is conducted in the light of various theories of narratology, it does not adopt the theories of a particular critical model or school of criticism. Instead, it utilizes a diversity of earlier and later empirical and theoretical contributions to critical thought - such as Anglo-American, Russian, French and others in relation to narrative discourse - and resorts to theory when necessary.
