Hyperspectral cameras take pictures containing wavelength information of the imaged view. The wavelength information, or spectrum, is imaged via dozens of spectral channels of the camera. The number of channels defines the spectral resolution of the imaging hardware, and the characteristics of the channels, such as bandwidth, define its spectral accuracy. The acquired spectral information can be used, for example, to identify imaged materials. In this thesis, the spectral responsivity of a Fabry-Pérot-interferometer-based hyperspectral camera was characterized.
