Graphene is a perspective material with great potential for different nanoelectronics and nanomechanical applications because of its unique electrical properties. One of the important applications of graphene is using it as a barrier between two superconducting electrodes in a Josephson junction. Such junctions are called the Superconductor-Graphene-Superconductor (SGS) junctions and their experimental investigation is the main goal of this thesis. An important experimental characteristic of a SGS junction is the switching current probability distribution (SCD).
