Granular materials can produce spectacular phenomena due to the dissipation that occurs when the grains collide. In microgravity environments, a granular material can adopt different behaviors, mainly depending on the packing fraction of the system and the intensity of the energy that is injected into the system. By regulating the packing fraction, a granular gas or a dense and slow aggregate can be observed. These aggregates are called "clusters" and their emergence has been studied both theoretically and numerically in the last decades. In addition, the parameters triggering the gas-cluster transition were highlighted during these studies.
