Colecção da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa : memórias em desenho da antiga Academia de Belas-Artes de Lisboa

The artistic heritage of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, heiress of the former Academy of Fine Arts of Lisbon founded in 1836, comprises collections of paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings, mostly related to the process of learning and teaching at the Academy. The Collection of old drawings that we propose to address is an archive and visual reference which enables us to acknowledge the methods and models followed in the past by the Academy in the classes of drawing, but also works done by professors for theirs students and drawings of Portuguese artists in the academies of Paris and Rome
