This thesis investigates language anxiety in Croatian learners of English as a foreign language. Language anxiety is considered to be a complex phenomenon specific to the language learning context and has thus been extensively researched over the last few decades. The purpose of this study was to investigate levels of listening and speaking anxiety in undergraduate and graduate non-English majors at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb.
