PERENCANAAN JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI AIR BERSIH DI PERUMAHAN CITRA PESONA BURING RAYA KECAMATAN KEDUNG KANDANG KOTA MALANG

Water is an essential natural resource for life. Therefore, the clean water needs to become a priority in its fulfillment. The increase amount of public housing in Malang city requires more attention on the clean water supply. One of the public housings which are in demand of clean water in Malang city is Citra Pesona Buring Raya in Wonokoyo village of Kedung Kandang sub-regency of Malang city. This housing lies in a ± 5 acres of land which the total amount of 536 houses. With the existing water piping, the Local Water Supply Utility (PDAM) is expected to be able to fulfill the clean water demand in Citra Pesona Buring Raya. Currently the PDAM has installed the transmission piping to serve the Wonokoyo village water demand. This study aims at making the distribution pipe planning for the Citra Pesona Buring Raya by using Waternet software. The calculation result shows that the Clean Water Demand for the Citra Pesona Buring Raya in the full development condition is 7.593 liters/second. The Waternet software design showed the total required pipe length is 2122.38 meter, the maximum relative energy is 51.14 meter, the minimum relative energy is 4.24 meter, the average relative energy is 25.04 meter, and the total energy lost is 19.2 meter
