ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF DALAM DAKWAH PARA DAI DI KECAMATAN LOWOKWARU KOTA MALANG

Language is something that is inseparable from human’s life. It means that there is no activity that is not use language. Through language activities, we are able to understand various things, starting from conveying ideas, conveying information, expressing the intentions and objectives widely by speakers to the opponents, through joint discussion and question and answer. Based on that, the objectives of this study were (1) to describe the form of directive speech acts in Da’wah of the dai in Lowokwaru District, Malang City, (2) to describe the function of directive speech acts in da'wah of the Da’i in Malang Lowokwaru District, (3) to describe the meaning of directive speech acts in da'wah of dai in Lowokwaru District, Malang City along with their relation to da'wah strategies used by Ustadz in routine studies held every week. Descriptive-qualitative method was used as a research method in this analysis of directive speech act. The source of the data was recording of the ustaz's utterances in the da’wah when conducting routine recitation activities every week. The result of the research showed that the directive speech act contained form of literal direct speech acts and literal indirect speech acts. The form of speech were the use of question sentences, command sentences, news sentences and the non-literal direct speech acts were the use of question sentences but the preparation of the meaning of the words does not have the same meaning as the speaker. Further data from directive speech acts were found in the function of speech acts which include requests, questions, requirements, prohibitions, permits and advice because in this function the ustaz as speaker tends to the request function in which there were asking, inviting, asking, and encouraging the congregation acting as a speech partner to work on something with the aim that the opponent gets useful knowledge and delivered by the ustaz as a speaker in providing Islamic-based studies and further data from directive speech acts can be found in the speech act to order, beg, invite, prohibit, advise, and recommend because the ustaz as speakers give direction to the congregation as opposed to saying something to do based on the Koran, hadith and the Sunnahs of the Prophet Muhammad and stay away from all forms of prohibitions that are forbidden by Allah SWT and His faith is always strong and we must establish ukhuwah Islamiyah and tolerate one another among human beings
