OPTIMASI FORMULASI SEDIAAN SABUN BATANG SCRUB KAYU MANIS (Cinnamomum burmanni) DENGAN BASIS PALM OIL, COCONUT OIL dan RICE BRAN OIL

Background: Indonesia is one of the largest exporters of cinnamon in the world. Cinnamon is still rarely used in cosmetic preparations, it can be added to soap to give texture as scrubing and interest as aromatherapic. Make cinnamon scrub soap bar preparations based on a palm oil, coconut oil and rice bran oil. Objective: To determine the effect concentration of coconut oil (20%, 25%, 30%): palm oil (30%, 25%, 20%) with 50% rice bran oil on each formula of cinnamon scrub soap bar on physical characteristics (organoleptic, hardness, pH, foam and alkali free/ free fatty acids. Method: Organoleptic test is observed visually, the violence test, the pH test, the foam stability test, free alkali test and free fatty acid test are analyzed using one way annova statistical test method. Results and Conclusions: Increased concentration of coconut oil affects the hardness of cinnamon scrub soap. The type of oil used affects the stability of cinnamon scrub soap foam. The Free alkali tests and free fatty acids in soap meet the quality requirements of SNI soap. After analyzing using one way ANOVA there is no significant difference in each test that is carried out on the cinnamon scrub bath soap formula
