PREFERENSI PERILAKU AGRESI MAHASISWA PEMAIN DOTA2

Playing types of aggression game online such as the defense of the ancients (DOTA2) can make someone do aggression in the real world. The aim of this research was to find out the description of the aggression behavior preferences of DOTA2 players. This study uses descriptive quantitative design. The subjects in this study were 272 students of DOTA2 game players with an age range of 18-24 years and at least playing games for 14 hours per week. The sampling technique used is incidental sample technique. The scale used is aggression behavior scale. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that subjects with aggressive behavior tended to be low (53.7%). The results show that the physical type of aggression behavior preference tends to be high (61.0%). The preference for anger aggression (57.4%), verbal (51.1%) and hostility (59.9%) tend to be low. Based sex, men (51.3%) and women (70.6%) had a low level of aggressiveness. Based on the age of 18-21 years have a low aggression behavior preference (58.1%) and age 22-24 years have a high aggression preference (50.7%). Subjects who live with parents and those who do not live with parents have low aggression behavior preferences (51.7%)
