ANALISIS KERENTANAN EKSPOR KOMODITI UDANG INDONESIA DI ASIA PASIFIK PERIODE 2000-2015

This research is an applied research, using secondary data, under a title “Analysis of Indonesian Shrimp Competitiveness (Period 2000-2015)”. This research is aim to know the potential of Indonesian marine especially on shrimp production in international trade whether Indonesia has potential as exporter or importer. To know the vulnerably of shrimp competition to certain country and to know the contribution of Indonesian shrimp in international trade. The analytical tool used is the International Trade, Market Concentration Index (IKP), Market Specialization Index (ISP), and Revealed Competitive Advantage (RCA). From the result of this research, it is known that rate of Index Concentration Indonesian market is 0,004221 in average per year. This shows that the vulnerability of Indonesian shrimp to certain destination country is relative small due to Indonesian market Concentration Index less than 0,35. Index Market Specialization for Indonesia is 0,85 mean while Indonesia is a country that specialize as exporter of shrimp. We competes with China where the average is 0,92. Revealed Comparative Advantage is 1,06 average per year. Indonesia in a good condition in the competitiveness of the shrimp industry. Indonesia in shrimp Industry feel decrease every year and in 2011 rate of Revealed Comparative Advantage is 0,35 average per year. International trade of Indonesia in 2000-2015 is 6,250 which indicate Indonesia give the contribution in international trade is 6,250% average per year. In 2010, the international trade of Indonesia experienced a significant decline in 2009 the contribution of 20,746% the decreased to 5,220% in 2010. Implication from this research is the need of increasing the conversion of shrimp species and quantity in Indonesian seas and overseas cooperation in increasing the production of shrimp and income for Indonesia
