STUDI RESEPSI TENTANG UPAYA KRITIK AKUN YOUTUBE VNGNC TENTANG VIDEO YOUTUBER LAURENTIUS RANDO ( Studi Pada Anggota Kine Klub UMM #17 )

Controversial criticism of someone packed in a video reaction illustrates that the more critical audience about something that is distorted, the ease of accessing all information through various platforms, one of which Youtube makes researchers interested in examining the criticism of VNGNC accounts about the video of Laurentus Rando. Departing from this thought researchers formulated a problem about how students from Kine Club UMM # 17 understood the criticism of VNGNC accounts regarding the video of Jose Laurentius Rando. In this study, researchers used the theory of Individual Differences Theory that was in accordance with the discussion in this study. The Individual Differences Theory introduced by Melvin D, Fleur considers that the process of audience behavior is based on stimulus-response, in this case there is no relatively similar audience, the influence of mass media on each individual is different and depends on the individual's psychological conditions derived from individual experience The reception analysis approach chosen by the researcher uses interpretative qualitative research methods in which the researcher uses the audience as a key instrument which the researcher then interprets the meaning made by the audience based on the background and experience of the previous audience. In this study, researchers chose students as the subject of research, especially students who were members of Kine Club UMM # 17. The focus of the research in this study is the interpretation or results of the interpretation of the research subject, namely youtube viewer among students members of Kine Club UMM # 17 about the criticism of VNGNC accounts on the video of Laurentus Rando. Data collection techniques used by researchers in this study were in-depth interviews and observations made at the UMM Kine Club Secretariat. Based on the elaboration on the data analysis, the conclusion of this study is that the audience is not merely passive in accepting and giving meaning to the media texts that have been presented by the media regarding criticism. This is influenced by the psychological conditions and experience of each audience which in this case is the subject of research. Research subjects who are in a dominant position tend to agree on the text provided by the media. The research subjects interpreted that VNGNC account criticism of Youtuber Laurentius Rando was a natural thing, it was because the research subjects who were in this position saw the criticism of the VNGNC account represented the audience's point of view. While the audience in the reader position is negotiated to agree with the VNGNC account criticism, but there is a research subject statement that also considers that the criticism should not be overreacted so as not to cause new problems. In the audience with an opposition position, totally disagree with VNGNC's criticism because it is considered to have dropped Youtuber Laurentius Rando's good name
