This research intends to explain about the English Monopoly Game used by English teacher of SMA Al-Izzah Batu. English Monopoly Game is a didactic game made by the teacher that aims to increase the students’ ability in reading skill. The objective of this study is designed to know the implementation of English Monopoly Game. It is also designed to know the strengths and weaknesses of English Monopoly Game as teaching strategy in teaching reading class. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The instruments for collecting the data were observation, field notes, and interviews. The subject of this study was the English teacher that used English Monopoly Game for teaching reading at 10th grade students of SMA Al-Izzah Batu. ...
