MINAT BELAJAR DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA

This study aims to find out how the interest categories of learning and achievement motivation of students of mathematics program. The type of this research is descriptive with quantitative and qualitative shortcomings. Source of data obtained is a student department of Mathematic Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, class of 2017. The data is taken by filling questionnaire and supported by interview. The indicator to measure student's interest in learning is feeling happy. attention, interest, and benefits. While to measure student achievement motivation used is responsibility and hard work in learning, like challenge, achievement, have purpose, and consider the risk. The result of the research shows that most students have interest in learning and achievement motivation with "medium" category either overall or every indicator
