ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEGIATAN BUDIDAYA KERAPU SUNU (PLECTROPOMUS LEOPARDUS) PADA KERAMBA JARING APUNG (KJA) DI DESA WATURIA, KABUPATEN SIKKA, PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

The development of Grouper / Trout cultivation with floating net cages (KJA) becomes an alternative to overcome the constraints of increasing sea fishery production. The most important thing with the development of this business is, that the selling price of production from year to year is better and very prospective. This research was conducted on 1 June -1 July 2017. This research was conducted in Waturia Village, Alok Barat Sub-district, Sikka District, East Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this research is to know the factors that inhibit the activity of grouper sunu cultivation (Plectropomus leopardus) on floating net cages, and also to know how the solution should be faced by factors that inhibit the activity of grouper cultivation at KJA. The research method used in this study is the method of interviewing directly to the respondent, then observation is done by observing directly with the location of the research. The result of this research that there are two factors that inhibit the cultivation activity on KJA is technical and non technical factor. The technical factors that influence the cultivation activity in the research are: temperature, salinity, DO (dissolved oxygen), pH, and depth. From the measurement of water quality parameters, it is known that salinity and pH of water still can not be said to support the grouper cultivation of sunu grouper in KJA due to the maximum value of salinity and pH of the waters. The non technical factors that inhibit the cultivation activities of household waste, security, and disease. The conclusion of this research is There are several factors that influence the cultivation of grouper sunu in this research that is technical and non technical factor. The solution is done by paying more attention to facilities and infrastructure of cultivation and human resources (Human Resources) in the cultivation activities.
