Research was conducted to find out the influence of the variation of load against the connection strength characteristics of friction welding steel ST 41. This research was conducted with experimental methods using a lathe, rounds of 1800 Rpm, with a variation of the load that is 3.5 kg, 4.5 kg, 5.5 kg and 6.5 kg. The next test is performed on each specimen tensile welding results, to find out the effect on the value of the tensile strength of friction welding connections. Research results with the variation of load against tensile strength, obtained the highest tensile strength variation of 5.5 kg load i.e. 53.0475 kN/mm2 and the lowest 3.5 kg i.e. of 50.0233 kN/mm2 of tensile strength of friction welded steel before amounting to 41.5 kN...
