TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP TINDAKAN MAIN HAKIM SENDIRI (EIGENRECHTING) YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH FATHOR RAHMAN BIN MOH. SI’IN, BAWI, MUSAFFAK BIN MARWI TERHADAP PELAKU TINDAK PIDANA PENCURIAN (STUDI KASUS DI DESA LARANGAN BADUNG, KECAMATAN PALENGAAN, KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN)

The act of vigilante or in other words is called eigenrechting, constitutes an offensive crime against a person who is considered wrong for committing a crime. This study aims to study and analyse the forms of vigilante action (eigenrechting), to know the profile of the perpetrator, and to study or analyse the factors of the occurrence of vigilante action (eigenrechting) in Larangan Badung Village, Palengaan Sub-district, Pamekasan district. This research uses method of sociological juridical approach. Primary data sources were obtained from the field and secondary data sources from literature studies, legislation, and data collection techniques were obtained through interviews with respondents from police officers, communities, perpetrators, and direct observation to the study sites. Further, the data of the research are analysed descriptively qualitative. Based on the results of the research, the forms of vigilante acts (eigenrechting) in Larangan Badung Village conduct violent actions by means of beatings repeatedly with hard objects and commit acts of violence by burning alive. While one of the perpetrator profile served as a head of the village, and the perpetrators of adults. While the factors causing the occurrence of vigilante action are emotional, just follow-up, family relationships, and education. The writer suggests to patrolling and securing, counselling and socialization, take firm action against infringing communities
