ANALISIS TERHADAP PELANGGARAN LALU LINTAS DALAM AKTIVITAS BALAP MOBIL LIAR DI KOTA MALANG (STUDI DI WILAYAH HUKUM POLRES MALANG KOTA)

Wild car racing in the area of Jalan Soekarno-Hatta Malang City has been going on since around 2000. The impact of other road users to be afraid to cross the road that made wild racing. The activity of wild car racing is an act that disturbs and disturbs the life of the community in addition to violating the provisions of the legislation. This research uses sociological juridical approach method. Sources of data in the form of interviews with Polres Malang City and wild car racing players and documents. The research data is analyzed descriptively qualitative. The result of the research shows that there are four factors causing wild car racing in Malang, that is, the absence of an official car racing circuit in Malang city, the lack of attention of the parents to the perpetrator, the low awareness of law of perpetrator traffic, and the association between fellow raiders. Traffic violations are often perpetrated wild racing players in Malang there are three, namely Article 57 paragraph (1) and (3), Article 106 number (4), and Article 311 paragraph (1) of Law no. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation. Efforts of Sat and Polres Malang Kota in handling traffic violation in wild car racing activity in Malang City there are two forms, that is: (1) preventive action, in the form of socialization and appeal to car clubs, and patrol at location which usually happened wild races ; (2) repressive action, in the form of raids or raids at the location of wild car racing, and providing speeding tickets and holding cars involved in wild racing. Malang City Police is advised to invite and continue to urge outside community to be willing to report if you see wild car racing action that disturbs and disturbs the public
