KAJIAN EKOFEMINISME NOVEL TANAH TABU KARYA ANANDITA T

In general, novels often present interesting stories, such as romance, religion, power, and strange events experienced by characters. Some novels also often present stories that connect two different objects, such as nature and women. One of the novels that presents the nature and women relationship is the novel Tanah Tabu by Anindita Thayf. Natural exploitation activities carried out by foreigners have been much detrimental and cause oppression on the five female characters. On the other hand, the limited access for women to participate in managing nature has a negative impact on the nature. The relationship between nature and women in Tabu Tanah novel is very interesting to be studied. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an assessment to find the impact of oppression on women and the forms of oppression that occur in women due to exploitation. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with study of ekofeminisme. The research data is a story unit consisting of dialogue, narration and monologue in the novel Tanah Tabu by Anandita Thayf. Sources of data in this study is a text novel Tanah Tabu by Anindita Data collection is done by way of analysis and interpretation of the data that has been collected. The key instrument in the research is the researchers themselves, but the authors use auxiliary instruments in the form of data collection tables and data analysis guide table. The analytical activity used Vandhana Shiva's ecofeminism study. Analytical techniques start from the stage of selecting and codifying data, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and verifying. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in the novel Tanah Tabu by Anindita Thayf found two research results. First, the form of women's oppression and the factors causing women oppression. This can be seen from the way the oppression received five female characters in the novel Tanah Tabu, namely physical oppression, verbs, and non-physical. Second, seen from the aspect of the causes of oppression, namely the existence of injustice against women and the existence of environmental degradation.
