PENGARUH ECONOMIC VALUE ADDED (EVA) DAN MARKET VALUE ADDED (MVA) TERHADAP RETURN SAHAM PADA PERUSAHAAN OTOMOTIF YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

This study aims to determine the effect of Economic Value Added and Market Value Added on Stock Return in Automotive companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. This is q quantitative descriptive study. The population was all automotive companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange while the samples were Purposive Sampling. Based on the criteria, there were nine companies chosen as the samples. The analysis technique of this study used Multiple Regression Linear. The results of analysis test by using partial variable EVA showed that there were no influence on return stock, which is proven by the value of significance 0.566 > 0.05. The variable of MVA also had insignificant impact on stock return. This was based on the significance of 0.495 > 0.05. The results of Simultan test obtained a significance value of 0.739> 0.05, which explains that the EVA and MVA variables had no effect on stock returns on automotive companies listed in BEI. This caused financial condition of companies that tends to experience losses resulting in inability to provide returns to investors
