ANALISIS BERALIHNYA BUDIDAYA MINAPADI KE BUDIDAYA IKAN KOI DI KECAMATAN SELOPURO, KABUPATEN BLITAR

Farmers at Selopuro District, Blitar Regency do cultivation that switch from minapadi to koi fish cultivation. The purpose from this research to: (1) know the causes of farmers switch from minapadi to koi fish farming and (2) know the cost of production, total revenue and income from minapadi and koi fish in Selopuro District. The research uses census method. Data analysis uses triangulasi test and income analysis method. The results in distribution of answers indicate that cause of farmers have switched from minapadi to koi fish cultivation include nature and technical factors, selling price, economic factor, social factor and environment. Nature factor is pest attack and technical factor is easy to care for koi fish. Selling price is more valuable in koi fish commodity. Social factor is the influence of successful farmers and the environment that supports the swicth of cultivation. The result of cultivation income analysis shows that the income of koi fish farmer is more profitable than when applying cultivation minapadi
