HUBUNGAN BENCANA BANJIR TERHADAP KEJADIAN TINEA PEDIS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS DADAPKUNING KECAMATAN CERME KABUPATEN GRESIK TAHUN 2018

Background : The flood disaster is frequent disaster in East Java, mostly due to the overflow of Lamong River in Gresik regency, especially in sub-dist Cerme. Diseases caused by flood disasters are mostly contagious. One is tinea pedis which is a superficial fungal infection of the skin of the foot and can be caused by direct transmission. Individual hygiene and individual activities due to flood disaster is also one of the risk factors of tinea pedis. Goals : This current research aimed at to investigate the relation beetwen flood disaster to tinea pedis incident at working area of public health center in Dadapkuning, sub-distric Cerme, Gresik regency. Methods : This research used Observational analytical with Cross-sectional method. The samples are a randomly drawn residents from the population in 5 flood-prone villages in the working area of public health in Dadapkuning. The variables studied were flood disaster with three indicators, individual hygiene, individual activities, and home environment due to flood disaster. Data were collected by using questionnaires. Data analysis using Chi-Square test. Results : Chi-square test results showed that from the three research variables, it was found that the individual hygiene variable (p value = 0.00 0.05) has no significant relationship to the incidence of tinea pedis. Conclusion : It can be concluded that there is significant relationship between individual hygiene and individual activity due to flood disaster to tinea pedis incident in working area of public health in Dadapkuning, sub-district Cerme, Gresik
