TINJAUAN YURIDIS SOSIOLOGIS TANGGUNG JAWAB PTPN X PG LESTARI TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN LIMBAH PRODUKSI DALAM RANGKA MENGATASI DAMPAK LIMBAH PRODUKSI DI LINGKUNGAN PTPN X PG LESTARI (Studi Kasus Di PTPN X PG Lestari, Kec. Patianrowo, Kab. Nganjuk)

There are many impacts of waste that has happened in Indonesia, one of them happened in the environment of PTPN X PG Lestari, waste production in PTPN X PG Lestari has many bad impacts on the surrounding environment due to poor waste management. The writer is interested to conduct a study in PTPN X PG Lestari because of that case with some problems of the study, namely : (1) How to manage waste production in PTPN X PG Lestari riview of article 54 of UUPPLH, (2) What are the impacts of waste production in PTPN X PG Lestari toward the environment, (3) How to overcome the impact of waste production of PTPN X PG Lestari toward surrounding environment riview of article 53 of UUPPLH. This study used sosiological juridical approach and primary data source obtained from the field. The secondary data were from documentation and legislation. Data collection techniques were in the form of direct interview with the head division of waste management, the village secretary of Patianrowo, and some citizens, also direct observation in PTPN X PG Lestari as a place where the primary data were taken. From the result of observation turns out the waste management in PTPN X PG Lestari is not going well so that it can still have bad impact toward the environment such as health problems, damage in agriculture sector, so that it can harm the surrounding community. It can be concluded that the waste management party has not carried out waste management properly and correctly so that it needs to increase the knowledge of waste management division in order that the waste can be managed properly and correctly so it does not give bad impact to the environment. It also should increase the effort to overcome the impacts of the waste by way of countermeasures on the environment that affected by the bad impacts of waste production of PTPN X PG Lestari
