HUBUNGAN KEJADIAN SUMBING OROFACIAL DAN USIA IBU SAAT MELAHIRKAN DI RSI AISYIYAH MALANG TAHUN 2017

Background: Orofacial cleft is one of the most common congenital craniofacial anomalies. Several studies have suggested that pregnancy outcomes are associated with maternal age. Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital of Malang had many patients who got their cleft repairment done. Aim: To determine the correlation of orofacial cleft incidence and maternal age at Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital of Malang. Method: This study used crossectional design and 229 medical records was obtained form Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital of Malang. The chosen medical records were patients record that had no other congenital anomalies. Maternal age were categorized and data was analyzed using Chi-square. Results: Among 229 medical records, 24 records were diagnose as orofacial cleft, 205 records were normal. Maternal age 25-34 years old were the most common maternal age found (51,1%), followed by 0,05), which means there was no relation between orofacial cleft incidence and maternal age at Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital of Malang. Conclusions: The results showed no relation between orofacial cleft incidence and maternal age at Aisyiyah Islamic Hospital of Malang
