PENANAMAN NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI EKSTRAKURIKULER PRAMUKA DI SD NEGERI KAUMAN 3 MALANG

Pramuka extracurricular has been implemented in SD Negeri Kauman 3 Malang, and called as character building. This activity categorized as good; it is proven by achievement in term of appreciation letters achieved by school. Meanwhile, character building through Pramuka successfully applied, despite the facilities and infrastructure of the school are inadequate. This present study aims to gain informations related to: 1) the implementaton of character building values through pramuka extracurricular in SD Negeri Kauman 3 Malang, 2) the character values showed by students during the activity, 3) inhibiting and supporting factors in doing implementaton of character building values through pramuka in SD Negeri Kauman 3 Malang. Descriptive qualitative approach was applied. Scoutmaster and headmaster were selected as the subjects to gain the data. This study was conducted in even semester in year 2017/2018, the instruments applied were interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the implementation of pramuka extracurricular in SD Negeri Kauman 3 were divided into 2; pramuka actualization and pramuka regulars. In implementing pramuka extracurricular, 5 education values are automaticcaly appear, and the most dominant is nasionalist, mutual cooperation, and independence. The only one scoutmaster is the inhibiting factor faced by the school, it impacts the less optimal of the pramuka extracurricular implementation, while the factors which support the activity consitst of good facilities and infrastructure, students activeness, conducive environment, suitable time, then teachers and employees roles.
