The machiniability of titanium alloys is generally considered bad because it has a furious tendency to stick to the cutting tool during machining, causing chipping and tool failure prematurely. Viewed from the side of its function, cooling media is one of the factors causing bad machining of titanium. The use of chemical liquids in the titanium turning process is considered a lot of risk so that research is done using bio-oil as cutting fluid. This study establishes jatropha curcas linn as a coolant in the process titanium (Ti6246).
